New York Times website invites ideas for most horrific terror attack...

'If You Were a Terrorist, How Would You Attack?' was the title of a highly irresponsible post published on the New York Times website yesterday.

The writer speculates what kind of outrage would most scare America and invites readers to comment with their most horrific idea to create maximum terror for minimum effort.

If this crazy nonsense is not a criminal offence, isn't it time it was...?

Hattips to and Conservative Home

Yeah, that sort of thing needs a name, a catchy name, something easy to say and type. How about Thoughtcrime?

Ah yes. I'd expect any site with `conservative' in its name not to have a clue.

What's wrong with the public thinking about terrorism, in such a way that they can visualize the worst threats and then be on the lookout *before* the terrorists dream them up?

Or would you rather persist this stupid game of cat and mouse, with the terrorists having the imagination and the government lumbering along behind doing nothing more effective than blocking the *last* technique they used whilst unapologetically inconveniencing the masses?
