Getting the picture about Ming

The LibDems made efforts yesterday to dump the aloof wooden image of Ming Campbell and portray him as a dynamic Leader. But a friend at the the Brighton Conference tells me that as he spoke, a series of giant "Ming the Man" photographs were flashed up on the screens behind him.

Unfortunately, almost every photo was a black and white shot.

Reminiscent, perhaps, of the all-grey images that did for John Major.

Hi Phil,

I'm surprised you don't have a link to robshorrock.me.uk.

As far as I know, it's the only other political blog in this area.

Same party as well.

Have you seen Shorrocks blog? He has some handy things to say about the runners and riders for the Labour leadership.

In our line of work, it's all riders and no runners.
