More dentists on the way for Lincs...

More than half a million pounds in Government cash is to be invested to help fill the shortage of NHS dentists across Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Primary Health Care Trust have approved plans to spend this year's handout of Government cash to increase the number of dentists in the county. It is hoped Lincolnshire will receive over £800,000 to fill the gap next year.

Fantastic Phil, another Nu Labor promise, just what the people have been seeking. The question is, will the people of Lincolnshire have any teeth left by the time this incompetent shower sort out the NHS dental disgrace?

Makes me glad I go private. Pity the poor toothless sods who can't afford it.

michael,

with more than 400 EXTRA dentists working across the East Midlands than there were in 1997, I calculate that the promise has been well kept.

i'm first to accept that there's more to do in the reform and modernisation programme to secure the future of the NHS.

however, not even nu labour promised to extend the nhs to expats in japan, or even to spain...

It wouldn't matter what they promised. Earth to Phil - they aren't taking NHS patients. Blair made a promise and he broke it. You will hear a lot about this one at election time.

The only thing more rotten than peoples' teeth is this Government.
