Former journalist Phil Dilks is chairman of Deeping St James Parish Council in south Lincs. Served 8 years (2001-09) on Lincolnshire County Council (Labour lead on Education and Children's Services). I was surprised he wasn't on the honours list this year. Not only for his victory last year but for his longstanding role as England captain.
I was delighted that my great friend John Higgins was on it but a bit surprised that Ronnie O'Sullivan is still waiting.
Had my pension on Federer to win the Tennis in Melbourne!

i'm not a huge tennis fan, but had the pleasure of seeing Federer on Centre Court at Wimbledon last year...totally awesome!

No he's still going strong.
Had a bit of a scare at the weekend but was back on song today.
