Deeping St James own defending world darts champ Martin 'Wolfie' Adams came close to losing his title in the quarter-finals.
But, as reported in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph our Woolfie eventually won his match 5-4 to claim a place in the semi-finals for the fourth successive year.
You can see Woolfie's match on Saturday at the Lakeside on BBC TV (coverage starts at 2.30pm) with the final on Sunday.
Go Woolfie...!

Poor boy just got knocked out.
thanks - just posted it...did you watch it?
Its a shame BBc East and Anglia TV news dont know where he lives,so far he has lived in Market Deeping,Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, maybe when they report his loss they might get it right, dont hold your breath.
Ian
thanks Ian.
Yes, I've noticed the Peterborough Evening Telegraph - who should know better - keeps saying he lives in MD.
It always annoys me to see DSJ totally ignored on maps in favour of MD - particularly when DSJ has the larger population!!!
