The Tory Party is being run by a group of very privileged and arrogant public schoolboys...Not my words, but those of Nadine Dorries Tory MP for Mid Bedfordshire according to the Daily Mail no less (from last week and only just spotted!).
With views like that and with one grammar-wars rebel already fallen on his sword, I wonder how long Ms Dorries will remain a member of David Cameron's education policy group...

Fifth consecutive post on...THE TORIES! Blimey Phil I vote for them and even I don't find them this interesting. Is there NOTHING else? Surely Government has to be more than this?!
michael:
if you lived here, where we are all forced to pay for the private education of a few selective children while other 11 year olds get a letter telling them they are a failure, you might have some understanding...
worse still, the children in the community i represent are barred from even applying for the places their parents pay for, no matter how gifted or talented.
that's Cameron's Conservative party today, which even a Tory MP now tells us is run by privileged and arrogant public schoolboys who are out of touch with the real world....
i'll keep blogging til we get it sorted...
I still pay UK taxes and retain my right to have a say over the mis-governance of the country. I have to pay for comprehensives and I will never have the need for them. Hardly fair. But then you aren't too bothered about the rights of taxpayers are you?
Maybe if comprehensives weren't so bad then grammar schools wouldn't be as popular as they are. But then Labour ministers hardly send their children to the state sector in any case.
My suggestion would be to keep blogging. It is funny. And it isn't as if you have anything better to do after the local elections.
