Cameron has shot himself in both feet over this one. By trying to appear strong, he's atually showing his weakness.
No. Cameron is going with the flow. He wants City Academy parents to vote Tory, not to waste time pedalling nostalgia for Grammar Schools in areas where none exist.
City Academies are the new wave of Grammar Schools, right down to the selective intakes, the dodgy sponsors and the massive state funding.
