Three news stories this weekend demonstrate all you need to know about the racial hatred constantly stirred up by the extremist so-called 'British' National Party.

BNP POLITICS OF HATE - 1.

BNP Leader Nick Griffin has described British Government aid to the victims of the terrible Haiti earthquake as stinking elite hypocrisy, alleging that the British winter will claim more lives and 'there is no aid here'.

The truth is after 12 years of Labour Government, there is far more assistance than ever before for the most vulnerable in our society. For example, decent pensions, vastly increased winter fuel allowances and automatic cold weather payments to help pensioners keep the heating on when temperatures of zero or below are forecast for a week or more.

Good to see East Midlands MEP Glenis Willmott - Leader of the Labour Group in the EU - instantly rebutting and rubbishing Griffin's outburst.

There is nothing British about Griffin's odious response to the Haiti disaster - and the screams of dying victims - in one of the most impoverished nations on earth.

I'm certain that the generosity of the British people will shine through, reflect the aid already pledged to Haiti by the British Government, and show how non-British and out-of- touch with the British people Griffin really is.

A racist ex-BNP nutter was jailed for 11 years for turning his bedroom into a bomb factory.

Here in Lincolnshire, I believe a Boston Borough councillor is the only member of the BNP to be elected.

Cameron panders to Euro-extremists...again!

David Cameron today caved in to Tory hard-right - again. Yesterday, Lord Norman Tebbit urged the Conservative Leader to promise a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty if he were to win the next General Election - even if it were already ratified by all 27 members including UK.

Instead of telling Tebbit and the Euro-extremists get on their bikes, David Cameron gave them exactly what they want: he made clear that a Conservative Government would hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty - even if it were already ratified by the rest of Europe.

The Irish people vote on the Lisbon Treaty next month - three days before the Conservative Confererence. If the Irish vote 'yes', it is expected that the Treaty will be ratified before the UK General Election.

At his monthly press conference today, David Cameron said:
...the Conservative party will be absolutely clear that we want to have that referendum, we want to recommend a no vote in that referendum, we want to withdraw the British articles of ratification as a result of a no vote in that referendum and change Europe in that way. That is our position and the Irish referendum doesn’t change that.

A retrospective referendum held in UK after all 27 countries in the EU had ratified the treaty would cause chaos - and I suspect instability which would damage our economic recovery.

I believe the only way the treaty could be renegotiated once it was ratified would be to repudiate an international treaty and to renegotiate Britain’s entire relationship with the EU - exactly what the Euro-extremists want of course.

Sad that David Cameron seems to think that pandering to the hard-right in his own party is more important than jobs and the wider British interest.

His latest cave-in to the hard-right follows Cameron's recent promotion of Dan Hannan to a plum job - just days after describing him as 'eccentic' after he blasted the NHS as 'a 60 year mistake' on American telly.

A couple of months ago, under pressure from the Euro-nuts, David Cameron pulled his MEPs out of the centre-right EPP party of Merkle and Sarkozi to get into bed with a rag-bag of no-hopers.

The Tory who attacked the NHS on American TV is at it again...

Now Conservative MEP Dan Hannan - who helped Cameron's Tories break their alliance with the EPP and instead join a ragbag of right-wing nutters - has admitted that he wants to get Britain out of Europe.

As Labour’s Denis MacShane MP says:

The dangerous thing for Britain is that far from being a lone, dissenting voice, Daniel Hannan increasingly seems to be setting the agenda for David Cameron - particularly when it comes to Europe.

The Tory Leader exposed his own hypocrisy by repeatedly refusing to say whether he would hold a referendum on the amending treaty if he ever became Prime Minister.

Wednesday's Torygraph says Cameron's referendum fight questioned.

And The Times goes further, saying:

David Cameron risked inflaming his party yesterday when he tacitly admitted that it would be too difficult to hold a referendum on the EU reform treaty once it comes into force.

The Tory leader is under pressure from MPs and activists to pledge to give the British people a vote on the treaty even if it has been ratified by all 27 EU member states. So far more than 40 Tory MPs have signed a Commons motion calling for a referendum “before or after ratification”.

Inside The Times, Peter Riddell talks of

Cameron's contortions about whether he will promise a referendum on the EU treaty at the next election. He talks of all sorts of uncertainties, when it is clear that there will be no referendum.

Cameron is clearly anxious to keep the Euro-sceptics on board by not ruling out a referendum if he were ever to become PM.

But his dilemma demonstrates once again that the Tory Party he attempts to lead is as divided as ever over Europe.

And of course, every member of current Tory front bench who was also there during the Maastrict votes actually voted against a referendum then!!

It was the Tories of course who signed away powers from Westminster to Brussels under Maastrict.

Unlike Maastrict, before signing the current treaty, Gordon Brown insisted on winning red line opt-outs to protect Britain's interests.

Now, where did I put that pot and kettle...

Is it a flip-flop or a EU-turn...?

As Call-Me-Dave Cameron stumbled to launch a new right-wing grouping in the EU, his Europe spokesman Graham Brady was stumped when challenged to name names.

The hapless Mr Brady was grilled by Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics Show...

AN: Who are your allies on this reform movement, how many have you got?

GB: Well our closest allies as you know are the Czech Civic Democrats who are in government in the Czech Republic…

AN: That’s one.

GB: We’ve just signed up the main centre-right party in Bulgaria this morning, the UDF…

AN: A powerful force for European reform!

GB: Well it will be, and we never said this would be an easy process..

AN: Anybody else? We’ve got the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. Anybody else?
GB: Well there will be…there will be others Andrew and the important thing here…

AN: Who?

GB: We never said it would be easy, er...

At the same time, over on BBC Radio Four's World at One, Tory MEP Caroline Jackson was happily predicting despite her Leader's huff and puff, the Conservatives would stay in their current political grouping, the more moderate EPP.

When he was running for Tory Leader, the only policy Dave committed his Party to was removing them from the EPP.

If he succeeds, he would leave the British Tories a bigger laughing stock in Europe and even more isolated among our partners than under his predessessors.

And that would be going some!

Just when Dave thought it was safe to talk about Europe…

David Cameron managed to highlight Tory isolation in Europe yesterday when he visited Brussels to meet up with the new right-wing fringe grouping he is setting up with the Czech ODS party.

Cameron has committed the Tories to pulling out of the EPP grouping because of its moderate views on the future of Europe

He was in Brussels to meet the ODS leadership and call for a greater focus on global issues such as globalisation and climate change, rather than internal politics.

But the rug was immediately pulled from under the Grand Tory Alliance with their new-found-friends in the ODS when Cameron's Foreign Affairs spokesman William Hague appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

Interviewer Jim Naughtie pointed out a gap in Cameron's strategy bigger than the hole in the ozone layer...

Er, isn't it a problem Mr Hague that your new allies, the Czech ODS party believes global warming is 'a false myth...?'

Ah, yes, replies Hague before admitting that Cameron doesn't agree with his new partners about global warming...

Great start to cementing a beautiful political relationship. And remember why Cameron is doing it...to concentrate on global issues like global warming!
