Phil Dilks became known as Fair Deal Phil when he campaigned for reduced bus fares for pensioners and disabled people in the Deepings. His biggest campaign has been successfully exposing Lincolnshire's scholarship scandal where every council taxpayer in the county is is forced to pay the private school fees of a few Stamford children.
