One commenter got the point. Does any Labour supporter think Quentin would be making the switch if Labour were in opposition? No. He doesn't have a socialist bone in his body. On many issues he is more right wing than me! He moved because Dave rightly overlooked him for the Shadow Cabinet. The man is an accident waiting to happen.
Any Labour person supporting this charlatan's treachery is simply storing up future ridicule for their party. Seriously - you are more than welcome to him.
>>On many issues he is more right wing than me!>>
shurely not.
Calm down Phil.
The only reasons why he jumped ship were because:
1. Grantham and Stamford Conservatives were going to de-select him anyway.
2. For 24 hours in the spotlight.
3. To jump on a parachute into the House of Lords.
P/S Articles arguing these very points have already been sent to the Stamford Mercury, Grantham Journal and Lincolnshire Echo.
Please give me a shout when they get published.
geoff:
1. wrong
2. wrong
3. wrong.
not even one out of three.
