Hats off to a trio of Deepings youngsters who have been breaking records in the swimming pool.
And hats off to their coaches at Deepings Swimming Club, who have a long record of achieving fantastic results - against all the odds.
Last time I checked, South Kesteven District Council were charging our thriving swimming club over £30,000 a year to use the pool.
In my view, our swimming club provides a fantastic service in investing in our young people that is vastly under-valued by Grantham-based South Kesteven District Council.
Isn't it seriously crazy that the main activity of our local swimming club is not swimming at all - but fundraising merely to get youngsters pool-side.

catching up...
Back from the General Election campaign, good to be home in DSJ, trying to catch up on lost sleep, but fascinated to watch the horse-trading not seen since 1974...more later.
